James E. Restly

James E. Restly, 92, of New Baltimore, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford.

James was born in New Baltimore on May 22, 1930, son of the late Mark and Vera (Straub) Restly.

On December 29, 1949, he married his wife Rose W. (Lybarger) Restly who preceded him in death on November 8, 2022.

He is survived by son- James M. husband of Lettie Restly, of New Baltimore; daughter- Rose Marie wife of Bob Fochtman, of Dover, PA.; son- John S. "Coon" Restly, of New Baltimore; daughter- Sandra wife of George Fochtman, of New Baltimore; son- Joseph P. husband of  Mary Jane Restly, of New Baltimore; son- Jake G. husband of  Betsy Restly, of Berlin; sister-Annabel wife of Richard Hardin, of Dickerson, MD.; sister- Annalee  wife of Roy Costello, of New Baltimore; sister- Irma wife of Larry Plush, of New Baltimore; sister- Alzine wife of Richard Hoffman, of New Baltimore; sister- Betty widow of Jim Davis; sister- Mary Ellen widow of Charles Hankinson, of New Baltimore; brother- Bob husband of Marcia Restly, of Bedford; brother- Mark husband of Shirley Restly, of San Antonio, TX.; brother- Philip husband of Judi Restly, of Fairhope; brother- Donald husband of Carol Restly, of Concord, OH.; brother- Frank widow of Carol Restly, of Windber; brother- Kenny Restly, of New Baltimore; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  James is preceded in death along with his parents Mark and Vera; and wife Rose by sister Louise Connor and grandson James M. Restly Jr.

James was affiliated with St. John the Baptist Church in New Baltimore.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Church with Father Mark Pattock officiating.

Interment will be at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore.
