Jane M. (Morgret) Wertz

Jane M. Wertz, 81, of Allegheny Road, Manns Choice, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Blair County.

Mrs. Wertz was born in Harrison Township on Aug. 2, 1939, daughter of the late W. Wayne and Ruth C. (Benna) Morgret.

On Nov. 5, 1983, Jane married Glenn A. "Murph" Wertz. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2020.

She is survived by daughters Brenda R. Alford, Everett; Christina Garnes, Alum Bank; and Diane L. Dick, Henrietta; sister Pauline Delozier; and sister Darlene Morgret. Along with her parents and husband Jane was preceded in death by step son- Theodore W. Wertz,  brother John Morgret and sister Olive Devore.

Jane worked in sales for the following companies: Dutch Maid, Avon and Tupperware. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary-BAOE #1707 Bedford Elks and the Manns Choice Sr. Citizens Center.

She was affiliated with UCC Dry Ridge.

A funeral service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, with Pastor James Golla officiating.

It is suggested that those in attendance observe the recommendations pertaining to wearing a mask and social distancing.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
