Janice C. (Burket) MacIntyre

Janice C. MacIntyre, 70, of Alum Bank, Pennsylvania went home to be with the Lord surrounded by loved ones at home on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Janice was born in Roaring Spring on December 21, 1952, daughter of the late Robert and Meriam (Corle) Burket.

On January 13, 1973 she married her husband Ray C. MacIntyre.

In addition to her loving husband Ray, she is survived by daughter- Anne M. wife of Greg Wood, Alexandria, PA; daughter- Misty D. wife of Brian Nicodemus, Alum Bank; brother- Retired LT. Col., Alan husband of Colleen Burket, Culpeper, VA.; and four grandchildren Wyatt fiance of Natalie, Sophia girlfriend of Charlie, Brayden and Eve; and one great-grandson Trace. Janice was preceded in death by brother Gary Burket.

Janice was a member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ in Pavia.  She retired from Cannondale in 2009 as a Regional Sales Manager, where she created lifelong friendships doing something she truly loved.

She lived for adventures, no matter how big or small, with her family, especially her grandchildren, teaching them many life lessons.  Her favorite past times of reading books, gardening, watching football, and caring for her saltwater aquariums were an equal match for her passion for any activity her family participated in, often gifting others with her smile and enthusiasm, as experienced with the PA Lightning softball team and her dogs, Henry and Max, in tow.

Those that knew her as a family member, friend, supporter, mentor, and coach loved and treasured her spirit and love for life even amidst any storms.  She will be greatly missed by all.
