Jennifer L. Koontz

Jennifer L. Koontz, 45, of Sloans Hollow Road, Bedford, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at home.

She was born on October 14, 1976, in Westmoreland County, PA, daughter of the late Linda Johnson.

Jennifer is survived by her fiancée Floyd J. Beegle, Bedford; son- Christian “Tyler” Dorsett husband of Jessica Dorsett, New Paris; son- Jonathan Tangredi and daughter Madison Tangredi both of Rainsburg, Stepdaughter- Jaelyn Beegle, Bedford; 3 grandchildren- Peyton, Nathan and Brooke and brother- Randy of Pittsburgh.

Jennifer was a hard-working individual and was always willing to take on whatever task needed completed, she was currently working as a Welder at Beegle’s Welding and Repair. She also had worked as a dispatcher for 911 and also had worked at Penn Detroit Diesel.

Jennifer enjoyed farming with her fiancée, Floyd she also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jennifer was truly loved by all who knew her. She had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs and loved caring for them. Jennifer was kind, compassionate, funny and loving to everyone she knew. Her loss will be felt for a lifetime, and she will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 12-2PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with a Funeral Service at 2:00PM with Jim Miller officiating.
