Jerry E Mortimore

Jerry E. Mortimore, 72, of Wolfsburg passed away on November 17, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.

Jerry was born in Bedford on September 29, 1950, son of the late J. Robert and Helen (Clites) Mortimore.

He is survived by brothers and sisters; Harry husband of Mary (Biddle) Mortimore, of Bedford; Joyce wife of Jim Comp, of Bedford; Donna wife of Frank Holler, of Buffalo Mills; John husband of Sandy (Smith) Mortimore, of Bedford; Rita wife of Randy College, of Schellsburg; sister-in-law’s Wilma Mortimore, of Bedford; and Linda Mortimore, of Bedford. Jerry is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Madeline Zimmers and brothers Jim, Lawrence, Richard, and Tom Mortimore.

Jerry graduated from Bedford High School class of 1969. Then for several years worked at Lane Metal in Cessna. In his early years you could see Jerry walking to Bedford and back for his daily exercise waving at everyone he met.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10-11 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Kendra Balliet officiating.  Interment will be at St. Pauls Cemetery, Bedford.
