Obituary
Kimberly J. Hillegass, 57, of Alum Bank, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford.
Kimberly was born in Windber on December 21, 1965, daughter of Franklin and Violet (Carson) Layton, of Alum Bank.
On November 11, 1997, she married her husband Dennis E. Hillegass who preceded her in death on August 15, 2016.
In addition to her parents, she is survived son- William Hillegass, of Alum Bank; son- Shawn Layton, of Osterburg; daughter- Kristen (Hillegass) Arcement, of TX; sister- Chris wife of Bill Pearcy, of Buffalo Mills; brother-Don Layton, of Osterburg; and 2 grandchildren June and Hank Layton. Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Annette Tew and step-father-in-law Tom Tew.
She graduated from Chestnut Ridge in 1983. Kimberly enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, crochet and loved her cats Muffin and Fluffy.
