Mrs. L. Louise "Weezie" (Berkey) Claycomb, 88, of Covered Bridge Road, Osterburg, died Monday, January 18th, 2016 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mrs. Claycomb was born in Osterburg on Monday, January 16, 1928,  the daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Catherine (Ake) Berkey.

On January 26, 1954, she married C. Floyd Claycomb.  He preceded her in death on July 20, 2004.

She is survived by  Daughter- Pamela D. wife of  Jerry Gaston, Osterburg; Son- Joseph F. husband of  Bonnie Lou (Imler) Claycomb, Osterburg; Daughter- Rowena Kay Claycomb, Osterburg; Sister- Doris Lindsey, Osterburg; Sister-in-Law- Rena Berkey, Imler and a Special Nephew- Butch Berkey, Alum Bank. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Beth, Jessica, Brandi, Amanda & Joey "Bubba" and eleven great grandchildren, Alex, Masen, Trevor, Emma, Zoie, Devon, Collin, Max, Attie, Madeline & Drake. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew and the following siblings; Rayford Berkey, Beatrice Weyant, Alverta Berkey & Benjamin Berkey.

Weezie was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.  She enjoyed reading, watching "Her Stories"  and listening to polka music.  Some of her other favorite pastimes were bird watching, shopping, eating out and watching Westerns with her daughter, Rowena.  Weezie was happiest when she was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren with a cup of coffee in her hand.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend and she will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 21st,  2016 with Rev. Jim Neatrour officiating.

Interment will be held at  Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2:00 - 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 - 10:30 AM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
