Loren D. Imler

Loren D. Imler, 71, of King Saint Clair Road, Osterburg, went to his eternal home with Jesus on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at home.

Mr. Imler was born in Bedford on August 12, 1949, son of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Imler) Imler.

On August 8, 2002 Loren married Cheryl L. (Stiffler) Imler.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Laura wife of  Scott Walters; Daughter- Jessica wife of Bradley  Brua; Daughter- Claire Imler; Daughter- Rebecca wife of  Andy Mulligan; Step Daughter- Lynn Mehrer; Step Daughter- Cary wife of  Wade Shaw; Step Daughter- Heather Burton, Step Daughter- Jennifer Sell; Step Daughter- Anna Strayer; Step-daughter-in-law Megan Strayer; Sister- Barbara Hollern; Sister- Joanne Murgi; Sister-in-law Ellen Imler; Sister-in-law Ruby Imler. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, and 1 step great grandchild. Loren was preceded in death by Brothers- Cary and Cloyd Imler and Step-son Ivan Strayer.

Loren retired after 30 plus years from teaching at Claysburg Kimmel High School. He also taught in the evenings at several colleges.

Loren was a member of Weyant United Methodist Church, Imler.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he greatly enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities. Loren was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Friends will be received on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 11AM-2PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville at 2:00PM on Monday, June 28th with Pastor Calvin Miller officiating.

Interment at Imler Valley Cemetery.
