Mary Colleen (Brooke) Cox

Mary Colleen Cox, of Valley Road,  Colerain Twp., Bedford passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at In Touch Hospice, Somerset, PA.

Mrs. Cox was born March 5, 1938 in Ft. Ashby, WV,  daughter of the late Ira and Nellie (Emmart) Brooke.

On September 18, 1963, she married Donald H. Cox in Cumberland, MD.  He preceded her in death on March 1, 2014.

She is survived by Daughter- Kimberly wife of  Donald Lambert, Alum Bank; Son- Scott A. Cox and fiancee Denise Baldwin, Everett; Son- Kenneth husband of  Vanessa (Stockenus) Cox, Bedford; grandchildren,  Joshua Crowley and wife Cheryl, Christopher Crowley and  Sarah Dull, Heather Carson, Justin Cox, Kurtis Cox and wife Berneda and Zachary & Alison Cox, and great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Summer, Jordan, Landen, Raelynne, Cameron, Hunter, step-grandchildren- Denver Mateer and wife Stephanie, Tyler Myers, step great-granddaughter- Bailey,  numerous nieces & nephews and grand puppies- Luna and Harley. Mary was preceded in death by 3 grandsons-Aron Cox, Jordon Cox and Michael Crowley, Jr., and brothers-Donald V. Brooke and Blair W. Brooke.

Mary enjoyed crafting, especially quilting, sewing and ceramics.

Friends will be received on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A Funeral Service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2:00PM with Pastor Jenny Barnes officiating.

Interment at Friends Cove United Church of Christ Double Brick Cemetery.
