Michael P. "Mike" Custer, 63, of Bedford passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Mike was born on October 11, 1959, in Johnstown, PA, son of the late Albert C. and Olga (Palm) Custer.
He is survived by brother- Albert husband of Linda Custer, New Paris; brother- Robert Custer, Bedford; sister- Peggy wife of Herb Whitfield, Woodbury; brother- Paul Custer, Morrisville, NC; nephews and nieces- JR Whitfield, Bobby Whitfield, Jenn Sell, Heidi Watt, Matt Custer and Lacey Custer as well as many friends.
Mike worked as a laborer for Rex Heat Treating. He was a member of the Bedford VFW Post 7527, American Legion Post 113 and the Redman in Everett. He lived a Biker's life and was a member of the Drunken Monkey Motorcycle Club, this is a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who love to ride and sponsor annual events to support a variety of charities. Over the last few months Mike also enjoyed spending time with his loyal K-9 companion- Shotgun. Mike was a kind, caring and hard-working person who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all.
At Michael's request there will be no viewing a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
