Pauline A. (Beltz) Turner

Pauline A. Turner, 89, of 4th Ave.,  Altoona, formerly of New Buena Vista died on Friday, August 21, 2020 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. 

Mrs. Turner was born in Juniata Twp. on October 4, 1930, daughter of the late Kenneth and Cathern S. (Fisher) Beltz.

On October 8, 1949 Pauline married John P. Turner. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2005.

She is survived by  Daughter- Wanda G. widow of  John Gottschling, Altoona; Grandson- Carey A. husband of Louann Diehl, Barrington, RI; Great-grandchildren Cali and Sydni Diehl; Sister- Mary Ann Hess, Manns Choice; Brother- Paul Beltz, Manns Choice.  

Pauline was a Seamstress and former Supervisor at Cannondale of Bedford and she also worked for the Shoe Factory in Schellsburg.

She was a member of Christ Victory Church, New Buena Vista.

Pauline was a member of Schellsburg Post #4440 Ladies Auxiliary VFW.

Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from Noon-2PM at Christ Victory Church, New Buena Vista. Masks are suggested and we ask that you please practice social distancing.

A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Victory Church, New Buena Vista,  at 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 25 with Pastor Pat Murphy officiating. 

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery Schellsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Pauline A. Turner to Shawnee Valley Volunteer Fire Company, Schellsburg or Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, 916 Hickory Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
