Randy L. Smith

Randy L. Smith, 53, of Industrial Lane, Alum Bank, died Sunday, July 5, 2020, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mr. Smith was born in Snake Spring Twp. on May 15, 1967, son of the late Jesse M. Smith, Jr. and Shirley H. (Logsdon) Smith.

On Dec. 2, 1994, Randy married Linda B. (Ickes) Smith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Randi Lynne Smith, Schellsburg; stepchildren, Danielle, wife of Dave Dallara, Bedford, and Chad, husband of Candi Bowers, New Paris; grandchildren: Ethan, Chazz and Cemi; sister, Wanda S., wife of Robert Holland, Bedford; sister, Yvonne L., wife of Clyde Gouker, Clairton; brother, Jesse "Butch" D. Smith, Bedford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Randy retired from over the road truck driving.

He was a member of VFW Post #9219 of Pleasantville and Bedford Masonic Lodge #320 F&AM.

Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 9, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A funeral service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10, with the Rev. Mark Dillow officiating.

Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Manns Choice.
