Ronald R. Wright

March 29, 1954 ~ September 21, 2021 (age 67)

Ronald Royce Wright, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

Ron was born to Alton E. Wright and Virginia J. Wright of Everett on March 29, 1954.

He is survived by his brother Ed Wright of South Lake Tahoe, California; brother Gary Wright and his partner Leah Weiss of Annapolis, Maryland; niece Leah Wright of Arnold, Maryland; niblings Alana and Aeris Wright of South Lake Tahoe, California; nibling Kit Wright of Bellingham, WA; and dear friends Kathy and Dale Hebner of Bedford.

Ron was soft-spoken, witty, and brilliant. He received engineering degrees at Penn State University (B.S.) and Boston University (M.S.). He was a tireless, dedicated worker and spent 24 years of his professional career as manager of the Everett Sewer and Water Authority (BEAMA) before retiring in early 2020.

A music lover, Ron played keyboards in local rock bands in his early years and attended concerts throughout his life. His zest for learning, craft breweries, and, most recently, baking took him on joyful journeys both on the road and online.

Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ron’s memory to the Virginia Jean Wright Endowment for Tenley Park Fund or to Bloody Run Historical Society in Everett.
