Ruth Marie (Felix) Fetter

Ruth M. Fetter went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Windber Hospital, Somerset County.

Mrs. Fetter was born on April 13, 1932, in Napier Twp., daughter of the late Dewey R. and Cora (Rowzer) Felix.

On June 6, 1951, Ruth married Eugene A. "Pap" Fetter. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2017.
Ruth is survived by Son- Larry E. Fetter, Imlertown; Son- Bernard L. husband of Carol (Findley) Fetter, Bedford; Son- Jerry L. Fetter, Manns Choice; Son- David R. husband of Wilma (Bruck) Fetter, New Paris; Son- Duane A. husband of Mary Jane (Stahl) Fetter, Bedford; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband- Eugene she is also preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Davis and two grandchildren, Othaniel and April Fetter, a great grandson, Jason Fetter, brothers- Clair, Harry, Homer, Dean and John and sisters- Betty and Mary.

Ruth's career started on a dairy farm alongside her husband, then later worked and retired as a cashier and office staff for Bi-Lo.  After retirement she worked part time at Sheetz in Bedford.

She was a member of Sloans Hollow United Methodist Church.

Ruth enjoyed many things including quilting, traveling, shopping, and taking pictures but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an amazing lady who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Manns Choice Church of God from 4-8PM and Friday, December 2 from 10-11AM with a Funeral Service at 11AM with Pastors Richard and Aaron Whetstone officiating.

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.
