Vivian M. (Lowery) Miller

Vivian M. Miller, 93, of Dunn Road, Schellsburg, went to her eternal home with Jesus on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Snake Spring Twp.

Mrs. Miller was born in Shanksville, PA on October 16, 1927,  daughter of the late John and Bessie (Barkley) Lowery.

On September 16, 1944 Vivian married Ford M. Miller. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1989.

She is survived by  Daughter- Viola widow of  Harry Corle, Bedford; Son- Eldon husband of  Linda (Bowman) Miller, Newville; Son- Larry husband of  Susan (Peters) Miller, Imler; Son- Roger Miller, Schellsburg; Son- Ford Miller, Jr., Schellsburg; Daughter- Edith wife of  Ronald May, Alum Bank. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way and one very special niece- Shirley Baer. Vivian was preceded in death by Son- Alfred Miller, Son-in-law- Harry Corle, Sisters- Cora Baer and Sadie Day and Brother- Ralph Lowery.

She was a cleaner for 1st National Bank.

Vivian was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who touched the lives of many. She was an amazing cook. Vivian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 16th,  with Pastor Jim Espenshade officiating.

Interment at Helixville Cemetery, Napier Twp.
