Warren A. Feaster, 82, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his home in Bedford Valley.
He was born October 31, 1937, in Cumberland, MD, son of the late John R. Feaster and Vivian (Athey) Feaster.
Warren was a 1956 graduate of Bedford High School and worked as Roadway Program Manager/Quality Assurance Specialist for PennDOT Bureau of Maintenance and Operations for 30+ years, but his heart belonged to the farm.
Warren had a passion for the outdoors, and enjoyed sharing that passion with others. For more than 30 years he encouraged young and old to camp and go fishing at his home during the opening weekend of Trout season.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Carole L. (Myers) Feaster, a son, Travis G. Feaster, a great-granddaughter, Sadie L. Riggs and a son-in-law, Robert A. Wallace.
He is survived by his companion, Delores Materkowski, a brother, Russell A. Feaster (Dona), daughter’s, Diana Dickson (Scott) and Stephanie Wallace; grandchildren, Heather Candanedo (Jean), Brad Zembower (Kelsea), Alicia Martin (Jamie), Sarah Smith (Bill), Hannah Carr (Spencer), and Karah Dickson; great-grandchildren, Micah and Rylee Riggs, Jayla Reyan, Khloe, Abigail, Samuel and Naomi Candanedo; and very special friends Dennis Felix and Andrew Keeney.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate the life of Warren on November 7, 2020 @ 1 pm at Calvary Baptist Church 615 Barclay Drive Bedford, PA 15522.
