Obituary

William A. Felten, 87, of Vine Street, Schellsburg died on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.

Mr. Felten was born on August 7, 1932, son of the late Charles H. and Marie (Weimer) Felten.

He leaves behind Widow Elaine F. (Clapper) Felten, 2 stepsons- Clyde Shippey Jr., Kamala (Whisner) and Chloe of Schellsburg; James Shippey,  Dawn (Diehl), Tristan, Kirstyn and Jake Miller and Nichole of Schellsburg; stepdaughter Tammy Shippey of White Horse, Berlin, PA; great-granddaughter- Ellenor Miller of New York; Father of four, Robert, Robin, Edward and Tawnya to a former wife whom is deceased Pauline (Fochtman) and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was the youngest of 14 children; and last of the family. He was raised in New Baltimore, PA.

He loved outdoor sports; especially horse-shoe pitching.

Bill retired from Highland Tank after 41 years, as a Welder, which was also a hobby.

He will be greatly missed.

A Private Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Pastor Aaron Whetstone officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery.
