William W. "Bill" Simons

William W. "Bill" Simons, Jr., 79, of Valley Road, Schellsburg , died on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona, Blair County.

Mr. Simons was born in Bedford Valley Twp., on March 23, 1942, son of the late William W. Simons Sr. and Marie G. Simons-McClymonds.

On March 22, 1965 Bill married Nancy (Mitchell)  Simons.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Kim wife of  Russ Nyberg, N. Fort Myers, FL; Son- Troy Simons, Schellsburg; Daughter- Shelly Sorenson, Fort Myers, FL; 3 Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter and a Brother- Roger Simons, Florida. William was preceded in death by his Brother- Richard "Dickie" Simons

Bill retired as a Concrete Contractor in Fort Myers, FL.

He was a man who had many hobbies that he greatly enjoyed. Bill was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4-7PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00AM on Friday, May 28th,  with Pastor Jeffery Ferguson and Pastor Virgil Frazier officiating.

Interment at Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris.
